When children are excited about what they are learning there is no limit to what they can do. Therefore, the better we know our students and build upon their strengths and interests, the more empowered they are to learn. At DSHK, students determine the topics of study, not textbooks. These studies come to life through rich units of inquiry, projects, and field trips.
